“We take over the space in April, as we bought the building,” said Martinez. “We are going to make it fresher, more appealing. We will add more booths and have a large bar area. We plan to remove a side wall and add garage doors that will open to a large patio.
“We want to create a space where people will want to come and hang out, a place that is welcoming for everyone.
“There is not another Mexican restaurant in Avon, so we think that even during a pandemic, this is a great time to open our place. The location is great, right off the highway. If we didn’t take the chance to purchase it, someone else will.”
